Tesla Recalls Its Vehicles Due To Screen Problem
Electric car manufacturer Tesla recalls its vehicles due to the screen problem. The company's "Model S" and "Model X" vehicles have a touchscreen problem.
US-based electric car manufacturer
Tesla is recalling its vehicles due to the screen problem. In the statement made by the US National Road Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), it was stated that the company agreed to recall 134 thousand 951 vehicles due to the touch screen problem in the "Model S" and "Model X" vehicles.
NHTSA sent a letter to
Tesla on January 13, stating that the failure on the touchscreen posed a security risk.
In the letter in question, it was emphasized that the touch screen problem in the vehicles could cause a security risk, as it could cause the rear view cameras and defrosters to malfunction.
It was also stated that more than 12 thousand customers a day have warranty requests and complaints about the screens. However, it was warned that the screen problem could be seen in more vehicles than Tesla had previously recalled from other malfunctions.
