Tesla is relocating its headquarters in the USA. It was stated that the company's headquarters in California will be moved to Texas.

Elon Musk, the founder of electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla in the USA, announced that they will move the company's headquarters from California to Texas. Explaining the decision taken at the meeting with Tesla's shareholders, Musk stated that they will move to the city of Austin, which is much more attractive in terms of cost, due to the difficult production conditions in California. Musk, who learned that he has had problems with the California administration for a while, said, "There is a limit to our growth capacity in the Gulf Region." He said that the high housing prices and tax rates in the state increase the costs of production and employees. Tesla is among the few California companies that have announced their move to Texas in recent months, including Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Charles Schwab. Elon Musk criticized the California administration, which is one of the states where the Covid-19 restrictions are most strictly enforced, for its strict attitude on this issue, and said that he found the Covid-19 practices, which brought the production at Tesla's factory to the point of halting, "fascist". More than a year ago, Musk moved Tesla's factory to produce Cybertruck to Texas, where both Covid-19 applications are more flexible and the production cost is much lower. In December 2020, Musk announced that SpaceX had moved to Texas, where the launch pad is located.
