The German Industry Expects Production To Increase In The Next Three Months
According to production expectation measurement surveys conducted regularly by the IFO institute, the German industry expects production to increase in the next three months.With the IFO institute production indicator rising from 4.4 points to 14.7 points in July, expectations came positive in July for the third month in a row. While a slight increase is expected in the automotive industry with the index increasing from 49 points to 51 points, the increase in the index for beverage producers from 19 points to 31 points indicates a more serious production increase.As the index rose from 12 points to 23 points for pharmaceutical industry production, it is observed that the expectations are shaped positively.For the chemical industry, the index increased from 9 points to 19 points, creating a positive outlook.For other sectors, the expectations are not so bright.Production expectations for furniture manufacturers fell to 6 points in July, 5 points for rubber and plastic manufacturers, and 10 points for leather and leather products manufacturers. The machinery industry continues to be pessimistic about the expectations, although the July expectations have risen from -25 points to 12 points.It can be said that the expectations for metal producers and processors are the same.The metal producers index rose to -9 points at -22 points in July.
