According to TÜİK's data, the number of vehicles registered for traffic in Turkey increased by 11% in 2021 compared to the previous year, while the number of vehicles whose registration was cancelled decreased by 11.2 percent to 42,924. Thus, there was an increase of 1,110,241 in the total number of vehicles in traffic in 2021. In December, 45.1% of vehicles registered in traffic were automobiles, 21.4% were motorcycles, 17.8% were pickup trucks, 10.7% were tractors, 3.8 percent were trucks, 0.5 percent were minibuses, 0.5% were buses, and 0.2% were special-purpose vehicles.

The number of registered vehicles decreased compared to the previous month

Compared to the previous month, the number of vehicles registered to traffic increased by 63.2 percent in special purpose vehicles, 32.6% in automobiles, 26.7 percent in motorcycles, 22.2 percent in pickup trucks, 17.3 percent in buses, 10.7 percent in trucks and minibuses. decreased by 6.0 percent and by 1.9 percent in tractors.

The average age is 13.6 in cars, 15.0 in minibuses, 14.8 in buses, 12.8 in pickup trucks, 17.6 in trucks, 13.7 in motorcycles, 13.6 in special-purpose vehicles, and 24.3 in tractors.
