The Chinese rival to the billionaire list prepared by Forbes, the "2022 Hurun Global Rich List," has been announced. Accordingly, China and the USA together own 55 percent of the world's "known" billionaires. According to Hurun, China, the world's second largest economy, has a total of 1,133 billionaires, while the United States has 716 billionaires. In addition, the number of billionaires in China is growing three times faster than in the United States.
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, became the first famous businessman who has become wealthy with cryptocurrency, with a fortune of 23 billion dollars. Zhao's fortune was $15 billion last year on the same list. Zhao followed Bankman-Fried, CEO of another cryptocurrency exchange, FTX, with a fortune of $21 billion. Last year, Bankman-Fried took its place on this list at the level of 11 billion dollars. In third place is Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, who was number one last year. Armstrong has a net worth of $10 billion. The successful CEO of Binance, Zhao, took his place on the list as the 67th richest person in the world. In the same ranking, Bankman-Fried was 77th. It was noted that Armstrong was ranked 238th.
