In the US, indices closed with rising by more than 2 percent of shares of tech giants like Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet and Netflix. At the close, the Dow Jones index gained more than 400 points and rose by 1.78 percent to 26,287.03 points. The S&P 500 index rose 1.60 percent to 3,180.20 points, while the Nasdaq index rose 2.21 percent to 10,433.65 points and closed the day with a new record.
