The stock market launched the day with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul increased by 0.43 percent and started the day with 1,101.56 points. At the beginning of the day BIST 100 index gained 4.76 points and 0.43 percent increased in value, as a result reached 1.101,56 points. While the banking index increased by 0.36 percent at the opening; holding index increased by 0.38 percent. Among the industry indeces, sports were the most profitable with 4.96 percent; Tourism recorded the highest loss with 0.49 percent. Stating that the data agenda in the country is stable today, analysts said that growth data will be monitored in the Eurozone abroad. Analysts stated that GDP in the Eurozone is expected to decline by 12.1 percent compared to the previous quarter. On the other hand, it was reported that the news about the treatment of coronavirus (Covid-19) and the geopolitical developments centered on the Eastern Mediterranean maintain their importance on the agenda. Analysts argue that the level of 1.120 stands out as resistance in the BIST 100 index and 1.090 points could be in the support position in possible decreases.
