Borsa Istanbul decreased by an average of 0.18 percent this week. On the other hand, gold, dollar and euro appreciated.
After seeing the lowest 1.179.46 points and the highest 1.222.95 points, the BIST 100 index closed the week at 1.190.63 points, losing 0.18 percent compared to the previous week's closing.
The selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar, gained 0.99 percent this week, reaching 488.20 liras, and the selling price of Republic gold rose 1.31 percent to 3.237.00 liras. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was traded at 773.00 lira last week, rose to 791.00 lira.
The US dollar increased by 0.76 percent this week to 7.9640 lira, and the euro saw 9.4200 lira with 1.61 percent gain.
Mutual funds gained 0.07 percent this week, and private pension funds gained 0.70 percent. When analyzed according to their categories, precious metals funds became the highest earner among mutual funds with 0.97 percent.
