Bitcoins, untouched for 11 years, moved today. A total of 1000 Bitcoins obtained through mining in 2010 were transferred for the first time in 11 years today in the morning.
According to information obtained from BTCparser, the crypto coins were issued in August, September and October of 2010 and have been kept in mining wallets ever since. The graph below shows that 50 BTC, which is part of the whole of 1000 BTC, was transported for the first time in 11 years today:
Today, 50 Bitcoin transfers were made from 20 different wallets to different addresses. Until the block reward halving in 2012, the amount of reward miners received per block in BTC was 50 Bitcoins. In 2012, this award declined to 25 BTC.
The mysterious Bitcoin miner also owned the same amount of BTC, different cryptocurrencies BTC Cash and Bitcoin Gold created by forking from Bitcoin in 2017 and later.
9K BTC Spent Since Black Thursday
On the other hand, according to a deeper study by
News.Bitcoin.com, the same Bitcoin miner has spent 180 block rewards since March 12, 2020, called "Black Thursday", and their total is 9,000 BTC. 9 thousand Bitcoin corresponds to 400 million dollars at current prices.
