THY Decides to Establish a New Air Cargo Company
THY decided to establish a new air cargo company. The company in question will be a wholly owned subsidiary of THY.
The Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines (THY) will establish a new company with the goal of creating a separate platform for potential strategic international partnerships in the upcoming period.
In the company's statement to the Public Disclosure Platform, it was informed that the entire company will be a Turkish Airlines affiliate.

THY, the reason for the establishment of the new air cargo company was explained as follows:
“Our Board of Directors ensures that the focus on cargo operations is increased, new product development and focused strategies are developed such as vertical integration, while taking advantage of Turkish Cargo's unique competitive advantage at the highest level, strengthening our position among the most important players in the sector and potential strategic international partnerships in the future It has been decided to establish an air cargo company, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, in order to create a separate platform.”

Turkish Cargo, the cargo company of Turkish Airlines, provides service to 127 destinations around the world.
Turkish Cargo, operating with a fleet of 365 aircrafts (passenger and cargo aircraft) owned by Turkish Airlines, provides air cargo services to more than 320 destinations, 95 of which are direct cargo points, worldwide.
