The fee income from title deed transactions increased by 30.2 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year and reached 24,320,000,000 liras.
According to the information compiled by the AA correspondent from the data of the
General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, 3,020,000 thousand
real estates (residences, land, fields, workplaces, etc.) were sold in Turkey last year, while 1,492,000 of this figure were residences.
Last year, a total of 14,624,000 transactions were made on the title deed. The fee income generated by these transactions increased by 30.2 percent to 24,320,000,000 liras.
While revenue of 23,507,000,000 liras was obtained from sales transactions, 185 million liras came from other transactions, 148 million liras from partitions, 102 million liras from merging, 91 million liras from mortgages, and 74.3 million liras from donations.
Last year, the highest fee income was seen in December, when the most
real estate was sold, with 4,095,000,000 million liras.
The title deed fee income in the last 5 years has reached 75.8 billion liras
Last year, the highest title deed fee income was obtained in Istanbul with 7.66 billion liras, followed by Ankara with 2.24 billion liras and İzmir with 1.6 billion liras.
The said title deed fee income is 1.09 billion liras in Antalya, 898.4 million liras in Bursa, 895 million liras in Muğla, 657.3 million liras in Kocaeli, 538.9 million liras in Konya, and Gaziantep. It was 511.3 million liras in Turkey and 486.6 million liras in Mersin.
The income from the title deed fee has reached 75.8 billion liras in the last 5 years. The amount, which was 18.68 billion liras in the previous year, was 10.89 billion liras in 2019, 11.26 billion liras in 2018, and 10.63 billion liras in 2017.
