Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group, or Togg for short, partnered with the energy company Farasis in battery production, the company was awarded by China for its new technology. Details about the new technology that charges the battery in 15 minutes are in the rest of our article.
Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group Togg started working with China-based
Farasis Energy for the battery. At the China Automotive Supply Chain Summit, which started the other day, Farasis received an important award. The 800VTC (Turbo Charge) battery technology developed by Farasis received the "Forward-looking Powertrain Excellence Award" at the Lingxuan Awards.
The company, which won the same award in 2020, will be the "first domestic battery technology with 800 volt system voltage" for China with 800VTC (Turbo Charging) technology. The company is expected to start mass production shortly.
800VTC (Turbo Charging) technology, which can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 15 minutes, offers the user the opportunity to increase the vehicle range by 5 percent compared to normal batteries. In addition, it can save energy to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3 seconds.
Last year, a battery partnership between Togg and Farasis was realized. Siro Energy, which was established by Togg and Farasis as a co-partner for battery production, produced its first battery in August and completed its tests.
Siro will not only produce for Togg. The company, which was established together with Farasis, is expected to serve the entire European market in other areas such as automobiles and consumer electronics.
