Trump Finally Signed The Coronavirus Incentive Package
Trump has finally signed the coronavirus incentive package. At first, Trump did not sign the package because he wasn’t satisfied with the $ 600 cash aid.
US President Donald Trump finally signed the stimulus package to support the negative economic effects of the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic in the country.
The coronavirus support package, which came to Trump's table after Congress's approval last week, could not get Trump's approval at first. Trump evaluated the $ 600 cash aid to the citizen as "disgrace", called for some changes, especially asked to increase this aid to $ 2,000, and did not sign the support package.
After that, the Republican members of the US House of Representatives did not approve the $ 2,000 bid, despite Trump's call.
Donald Trump's disapproval of the current package also caused strong reactions from many, including the
newly elected US president Joe Biden.
According to the signed package, those with an annual income of 75 thousand dollars or less in 2019 will be given 600 dollars in cash. With the aid package, weekly unemployment wages of 300 dollars will continue to be paid, those who cannot pay their rent will not be evicted from their homes until January 2021, and small businesses, airlines and farmers will be supported.
