Trump is preparing to return to social networks
Trump has been heavily active on Twitter in the past, but the platform blocked Trump's account after his supporters broke into the U.S. Congress headquarters in Washington on January 6. The attack claimed five lives.
Twitter representatives justified the measures as "the danger of further incitement to violence". The social networks Facebook,
Instagram or YouTube also chose a similar approach.
"I think we will probably see President Trump returning to social networks in two to three months, with his own platform," Trump's adviser Jason Miller told Fox News on Sunday. According to him, several companies contacted the ex-president due to the planned project.
"I think it will be the biggest sensation on social media," Miller said. He expects the new platform to attract "tens of millions" of people, but has not provided more detailed information about the project. Trump's
Twitter account had nearly 90 million followers before it was canceled.
