Türk-İş: Under 3 Thousand Liras Would Not Please Employees
Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay made a statement regarding the minimum wage. Atalay said that minimum wage offers under 3,000 liras would not please employees.
Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay evaluated the minimum wage proposals before the last minimum wage determination commission meeting to be held on 28 December.
“An Offer Over 3 Thousand Liras Should Be Made”
Making his statement in writing, Ergün Atalay used the following regarding the
minimum wage amount that will be valid in 2021:
“Employers and the government should not make an offer below 3 thousand lira on the minimum wage. Because an offer below 3 thousand lira is not an offer that will make people happy, it is not an offer that will make the employees happy.”
