Turkey: New Record In Daily Electricity Production!
Records were broken in
daily electricity production of all time. In his statement on the subject, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez stated, "We broke the daily electricity generation record of all times by exceeding 1 billion kilowatt hours on 3rd of September".
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez made statements regarding the production of electricity daily and hourly
electricity consumption in Turkey. In his statement, Minister Dönmez announced that on 3rd of September, the highest levels in history were reached in daily electricity production and hourly electricity consumption.
Sharing data on daily electricity production and consumption on his Twitter account, Dönmez stated that the daily electricity production record was broken by exceeding 1 billion kilowatt-hours.
Minister Dönmez used the following statements in his post:
"Energy production continues to rise, breaking the record for Turkey. Despite the ongoing Outbreak we have increased the daily/hourly electricity production. "
Previous Record Was Broken In 2018
According to the shared reports that described Turkey's daily production and consumption data, on 3rd of September to 1 billion 7 million 331 thousand kilowatt hours of electricity daily production made, passed to an all-time record as the highest value. The previous record was broken on August 2, 2018 with 1 billion 6 million 642 thousand kilowatt hours.
49 million 556 thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity was consumed, again on 3rd of September at 2 pm, the highest level of all time.
During the time of highest consumption generated electricity was equivalent to 38 times produced by the Keban Dam.
