THY) signed a codeshare and frequent flyer program agreement with Brazilian airline company GOL Linhas Aéreas.

THY) and GOL Linhas Aéreas, one of Brazil's biggest airline companies, have struck a codeshare arrangement as well as a frequent flyer program (FFP) deal. Turkish Airlines, which runs 7 times a week reciprocal flights from Istanbul Airport to Sao Paulo, Brazil, will use this arrangement to transport passengers from Africa, Asia, the Far East and the Middle East to places served by GOL Airlines in Brazil as well as towns in the region. It will provide transportation to Asuncion, Santiago, Montevideo, and Lima, according to the statement. Passengers will be able to purchase tickets from THY sales agents directly.
"It will be a pleasure for us to contribute to the commercial relations between our countries through this partnership." said THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi.
GOL's CEO, Paulo Kakinoff, further stated "It is a pleasure for GOL to enable THY passengers to access the most destinations in Brazil with this arrangement. Moreover, we are really glad that THY's wide flight network, paired with its GOL connecting flights, will provide a unique chance for passengers from all over the world to see the wonders of Brazil."
