High Expectation
Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of ODİB, noted that despite the coronavirus epidemic crisis, tea exports continue to increase their potential.
Stating that the income from tea exports made them happy, Gürdoğan said:
“Our tea exports started the 2020 season with a record increase and this potential continued in 11 months of the year. In this context, our expectation from tea exports is high and we believe that we will complete the year with a good export potential. We hope that our export potential will increase even more next year. The increase in the number of countries with each passing year is a leading indicator that our exports will reach higher figures in the coming period.”
