President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey is one of the best 3-4 countries in the world in drones.

Participating in the Mavi Vatan 2021 Tactical Exercise from the Vahdettin Mansion with a live connection, Erdogan said, "Our Naval Forces make us proud with their experience, discipline, qualified personnel and the achievements they have earned in their missions. Today, we are one of the best 3-4 countries in the world in unmanned aerial vehicles." In his speech, Erdogan said, "I pray God's mercy to our soldiers who were martyred in our helicopter, who were killed in an accident in Bitlis the day before. I give my condolences to the families, relatives, Turkish Armed Forces, our beloved nation." Speaking about the Mavi Vatan 2021 Tactical Exercise, the President said, "This year, we test our domestic and national weapon systems with a much stronger, much more comprehensive, much more organized exercise. We have the opportunity to see, evaluate and correct the deficiencies, if any, of our hero army's knowledge, abilities and skills. " President Erdogan said, "We have to be strong not only in economic and political terms, but also in the field of military and defense."   "We Are Just Trying To Protect Our Country And Our Rights" Stating that having a strong navy in Turkey is a necessity rather than a choice, Erdogan said, "We do not have an eye on any country's land, sea, sovereignty, we are just trying to protect our homeland and our rights." Erdogan said, "There has been an attempt to usurp the rights of our nation and the Turkish Cypriots in the Eastern Mediterranean." President Erdogan said, "Our Naval Forces make us proud with their experience, discipline, qualified personnel and the achievements they earned in the tasks they undertake." "Today we are one of the best 3-4 countries in the world in drones." In his statement, Erdoğan continued his words as follows: "So far, we have exported more than 130 naval platforms with a cost of over 3 billion dollars produced in our shipyards. We exist in our own land waters with our Coast Guard and with our Navy for the peace and tranquility of all humanity. We are determined to move to the super league of the world. The world that dominates the seas will dominate. With this belief, we attach great importance to increasing the deterrence of our Navy. We are among the 10 countries that can design, build and maintain their own warship. " President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "This year, we will bring our test and training ship Ufuk and our multi-purpose amphibious assault ship Anatolia to our Naval Forces. Next year, we plan to put Piri Reis, the first of our new type submarines, into service. I hope we are starting the process of building the 7th and 8th frigates soon."
