Speaking at a press conference on Friday,
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson noted that more measures could be taken to protect Britain's borders from different unknown strains of the new type of coronavirus.
According to the news in the BBC, government officials in the UK plan to require travelers to be quarantined at hotels for 10 days and to pay accommodation fees on their own.
While most international travel is currently prohibited in the country, according to the new decision taken in early January, those who will enter the country are requested to have a negative coronavirus test before travel.
It is stated that if the already strict restrictions are increased further, it will affect the aviation and tourism sector.
