Lavrov and Çavuşoğlu Will Meet Tomorrow
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov will hold a meeting tomorrow to discuss the latest situation in Ukraine.

In a written statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that bilateral relations will be discussed at the meeting and said, "The political dialogue between Russia and Turkey has maintained its intensity this year. High-level contacts are continuing intensively. Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have spoken on the phone 9 times since the New Year's."
Emphasizing that the interaction between Russian and Turkish ministries and institutions continues uninterrupted, the statement said, "The situation in Ukraine, the South Caucasus, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and the Black Sea regions will be discussed at the meeting of the ministers. The two ministers discussed the current situation in the Ukraine Crisis and also exchanged views on the possibility about the resumption of the peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.”
