US Decision to Sell F-16s to Turkey

The United States House of Representatives is discussing additions to the NDAA bill that records the Pentagon's 2023 budget. In the General Assembly of the House of Representatives, the amendment submitted by Democrat Chris Pappas of New Hampshire, which stipulates the US sale of F-16s to Turkey, was adopted by 244 votes against 179.
The amendment, sponsored by Democrat Chris Pappas of New Hampshire and a number of other MPs, calls for the US President to commit to the Foreign Affairs and Armed Services Committees of both houses of Congress to take concrete steps to ensure that the sale of F-16s to Turkey is in the national security interests of the United States and that the F-16s sold "will not be used in the continued violation of Greek airspace," said Democrat Chris Pappas of New Hampshire.
