US Oil Drilling Rigs Continue to Decline

The US oil industry's outlook and the number of oil drilling rigs, which are considered indicators of short-term crude oil production, have been decreasing for 13 weeks. According to data released by Baker Hughes, the number of US oil drilling rigs decreased by 7 a week including June 6-12, and the total number was 199. The number of US oil drilling rigs, which have dropped for a total of 13 weeks, decreased by 484 during this period. The price of barrels of Brent oil, which closed at $ 38.55 on Thursday, closed Friday with $ 38.73. The barrel price of West Texas (WTI) crude oil finished Friday at $ 36.26. WTI closed Thursday at $ 36.34.
