US Oil Rigs Increased This Week
The number of
oil rigs in the US has increased on November 7. This week, the number of oil rigs in the country increased by 5.
The number of oil rig rigs, described as an indicator of the US oil industry outlook and short-term crude oil production, has increased.
According to weekly data released by oilfield services company Baker Hughes, the number of oil rigs in the US increased by 5 during October 31-November 6. Accordingly, the number of oil drilling rigs in the country increased to 226.
The barrel price of
brent oil, which closed at $ 40.93 on Thursday, closed at $ 39.58 on Friday. The barrel price of West Texas (WTI) type crude oil completed Friday at $ 37.30. WTI type crude oil closed Thursday at $ 38.79.
