USD/TL rate dropped below 7. The exchange rate focused on the Central Bank of Turkey (CBRT) interest rate decision to be announced this week and Fitch's assessment. Dollar/TL exchange rate is moving downward on Monday. Dollar/TL saw below 7 with a downward trend on the first trading day of the week. It was seen that the dollar was withdrawn in global markets. On Monday, almost all of the country's currencies were positive against the dollar. The Bloomberg Dollar Index also started the new week with a decline. Turkey's risk premium is traded at 290 basis points, while benchmark bond interest is at 14.77 percent. All the attention of domestic markets is in the CBRT's interest rate decision, which will be announced this week. The decision will be announced by the CBRT on Thursday, February 18th.
