US President Joe Biden stated that people who are fully vaccinated against coronavirus (Covid-19) do not need to wear a mask. Biden said, "Now the rule is very simple, get vaccinated or wear your mask until it is done."
US President Biden made a statement in the White House garden right after the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published a new guide on Covid-19 rules.
Biden said, "Today is a great day in our fight against coronavirus in the USA. US Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced that people who are fully vaccinated do not have to wear a mask anymore."
Drawing attention to the success of the vaccination practice behind this decision, Biden said, "We used 250 million doses of vaccine in 114 days. We also see the results. Cases fell in 49 out of 50 states."
Stating that the hospitalization rates have been at the lowest level since the day the epidemic started, Biden underlined that the patience and sacrifices of the US people for the last 1 year are appreciated.
Biden used the following expressions:
"You have fulfilled your patriotic duty as a vaccine. Now the rule is very simple, get vaccinated or put on your mask until you get it."
