Venmo Will Offer Crypto Exchange Service
Venmo will offer crypto exchange service. The application, owned by PayPal, will provide crypto services to more than 70 million users.
Venmo, the payment application owned by PayPal, one of the world's leading payment companies, announced that it will begin to offer its users the service of purchasing, selling and holding cryptocurrency.
In the application, it will be possible to make Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin cash transactions for now.
A survey conducted by Venmo and participated by 2,200 users revealed that one-third of the participants had previously traded cryptocurrencies and shares.
Darrell Esch, Vice President and Managing Director of Venmo, stating that the timing is correct, said, "We want to offer our users this experience on a secure platform."
Known to appeal to a younger audience compared to
PayPal, Venmo also aims to publish educational videos on cryptocurrency for its users.
