This week, the stock market, gold and the Euro earned on a weekly basis, while the US dollar declined. This week, stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 0.74 percent on a weekly basis, the gram selling price of gold gained 1.40 percent and Euro/TL exchange rate increased 0.35 percent, while the USD/TL rate lost 0.30 percent. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index saw the lowest 1.519.00 points and the highest 1.558.08 points. After these levels, the BIST 100 index closed the week at 1,538.44 points with an increase of 0.74 percent compared to the previous week's close. This week, the selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar, increased by 1.40 percent to 411.40 liras, and the selling price of Republican gold rose to 2.731.00 lira with a 1.37 percent appreciation. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was 658.00 lira last week, reached 667.00 lira. The US dollar, which depreciated by 0.30 percent this week, fell to 7,0330 TL, while the Euro gained 0.35 percent and reached 8.5020 TL. Mutual funds gained 0.42 percent this week, while private pension funds gained 0.26 percent. On the basis of categories, basket funds earned the most among mutual funds with 0.96 percent.
