This week, the selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar rose to 418.50 lira with a value gain of 4.94 percent, while the selling price of Republican gold rose to 2.777.00 lira with a value gain of 4.87 percent. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was 647.00 lira last week, increased to 678.00 lira. The US dollar, which gained 6.39 percent this week, rose to 7.4060 lira, while the Euro gained 6.51 percent and rose to 8.9830 lira. Mutual funds gained 0.25 percent this week, while private pension funds gained 0.91 percent. Among mutual funds, precious metals funds earned the most with 3.95 percent increase.
