While stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul this week lost an average of 2.58 percent on a weekly basis, the price per gram of gold rose by 1.10 percent, USD/TL 0.31 percent, and Euro/TL 1.58 percent. This week, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul saw the lowest 1,373.65 points and the highest 1,445.13 points. After these levels, the BIST 100 index closed the week at 1,393.24 points, decreasing by 2.58 percent compared to the previous week's close. This week, the selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar rose to 458.20 lira with a 1.10 percent gain in value, and the selling price of Republican gold rose to 3.039.00 lira with a 1.10 percent appreciation. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was 734.00 lira last week, reached 742.00 lira. The US dollar, which gained 0.31 percent this week, rose to 8.1710 lira, while the Euro increased to 9.7230 lira with 1.58 percent appreciation. Mutual funds gained 0.55 percent this week, while private pension funds gained 0.80 percent. On the basis of categories, it was recorded as "Precious Metals Funds" with 1.73 percent earning the most among mutual funds.
