While the stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul depreciated by an average of 1.34 percent on a weekly basis, the selling price of gold increased by 0.16%, USD/TL exchange rate increased by 2.47%, and Euro/TL exchange rate increased by 1.68%. BIST 100 index, after seeing the lowest 1.412.23 and the highest 1.447.96 points, closed the week at 1.419.43 points, decreasing by 1.34 percent compared to the previous week's closing. The selling price of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar, rose to 486.00 TL with a gain of 0.16 percent this week, and the sales price of the Republican gold to 3.223.00 TL with a gain of 0.19 percent. The price of quarter gold, which was 786.00 TL last weekend, remained flat. This week, the US dollar gained 2.47 percent to 8,6280 TL, and the Euro increased by 1.68% to 10,1290 TL. Mutual funds lost 0.10 percent this week, while private pension funds lost 0.26 percent. Money Market Funds were the highest earner among mutual funds with 0.34 percent.
