While the stock market and gold investors lost this week, the foreign currency earned its investors on a weekly basis. While stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul lost an average of 1.05 percent on a weekly basis and the selling price of gold per gram lost 0.05 percent, the USD/TL gained 2.24 percent and the Euro / TL gained 0.82 percent. This week, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul saw the lowest 1.516.14 points and the highest 1.568.06 points. After these levels, the BIST 100 index closed the week at 1,524.49 points, decreasing by 1.05 percent compared to the previous week's close. The selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar this week, lost 0.05 percent to 443.80 liras, and the selling price of Republican gold fell by 0.07 percent to 2.944.00 liras. The US dollar, which gained 2.24 percent this week, increased to 7.4920 lira, while the Euro gained 0.82 percent and increased to 9.0710 lira. Mutual funds gained value by 0.49 this week, while private pension funds lost 0.02%. On the basis of categories, equity funds were the highest earning among mutual funds with 1.98 percent.
