This week, stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 1.18 percent on a weekly basis, while the price per gram of gold lost 1.26 percent, USD/TL 1.08 percent, and Euro/TL 0.63 percent. This week, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul saw the lowest 1.508.90 and the highest 1.582.04 points. After these levels, the BIST 100 index increased by 1.18 percent compared to the previous week's closing and closed the day at 1,542.45 points. The selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar this week, decreased by 1.26 percent to 438.20 liras, while the selling price of Republican gold fell by 1.22 percent to 2.908.00 liras. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was 719.00 lira last week, decreased to 710.00 lira. The US dollar, which lost 1.08 percent this week, fell to 7.4110 TL, while the Euro lost 0.63 percent and decreased to 9.0140 TL. Mutual funds gained 0.69 percent this week, while private pension funds gained 0.51 percent. Based on their categories, equity funds earned the most among mutual funds with 1.96 percent.
