WhatsApp Started Experimenting With Cryptocurrency Payment

WhatsApp has started experimenting with cryptocurrency payment. Instant messaging app WhatsApp is experimenting with integrating Novi.

It has been reported that Facebook, which recently announced that it has gathered all its brands under the name 'Meta', will soon integrate its digital currency wallet Novi into WhatsApp. In this context, it will be possible to add a bank account to the Novi wallet in the WhatsApp application, connect credit cards, withdraw money and view the balance. It was noted that authentication will be required in order to use the application. Verification will be done with identity documents and video recording. Users can send Pax Dollars (USDP) to each other via Novi, which is currently being tested in India and Brazil. The company has also recently activated the returns feature in India. Meta's Head of Novi, David Marcus, stated that their goal is to bring together all payment services.
