WHO Calls For International Community $ 675 Million in Aid for Covid-19 Outbreak

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), called on the international community for
$ 675 million in aid for a more effective fight against the Kovid-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China.
According to the statement made by WHO's Twitter account, Ghebreyesus reminded the
"Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan" for the virus.
Ghebreyesus called $ 675 million in aid to donor countries to be used, especially in "poorest healthcare countries" where the virus spread.
Ghebreyesus stated that they have determined 13 priority countries in Africa and that these countries have direct connections with China or those who travel more intensively to China.
Sharing the information that they sent more than 30 thousand personal protective equipment to 6 countries determined as a priority in Africa, Ghebreyesus stated that they are ready to send 60 thousand healthcare materials
