Workers in Germany want to continue to work from home
More than two thirds of workers in Germany who work from home because of the corona crisis want to continue doing so after the pandemic.
That's according to the latest YouGov poll, which was reported by the DPA on Monday.
According to this survey, which took place at the end of July on behalf of the energy company EON, the popularity of working from home has increased as a result of the
pandemic.
As many as 71 percent of respondents who work from home said that they would like to continue working in this way in the future.
Their number has thus increased compared to the beginning of the pandemic, or rather the survey from last May, when only 58 percent of respondents said so, the DPA recalls.
About a quarter of respondents (26 percent) said in a recent survey that they would like to work from home all the time. The remaining 45 percent would like to be able to work on the inverter from home and office, according to DPA.
The survey also looked for the reasons for the growing popularity of working from home. The most common reason for respondents turned out to be the time they save when they do not have to go to work.
As many as 70 percent of respondents agreed. Other reasons were more
flexible working hours (57 percent of respondents), savings on travel expenses (52 percent) and a positive impact on the environment (43 percent).
