Giving an exclusive interview to Reuters, Malpass said that part of the coronavirus financing of 160 billion dollars collected thanks to different lenders will be used, and that the vaccine reaches healthcare professionals in these country groups and workers in other strategic sectors; He said it was intended to distribute globally.
Malpass also stated that the board will consider the prepared plan in early October.
In addition, although there is no vaccine yet, the world is in the race to reach the vaccine at the earliest.
The US government has committed more than $ 3 billion for millions of doses of vaccines produced by AstraZeneca, BioNTech and Pfizer.
