Technology giant Apple has decided not to work with Chinese supplier Ofilm Group due to the events in the Xinjiang Uyghur Region.

A source knowledgeable about the subject announced that Apple terminated its agreement with Ofilm a few months ago. Ofilm stated that they are no longer doing business with an "overseas customer", but did not share the name of the company. Following the aforementioned announcements, Ofilm shares declined by 10 percent, closing at the lowest level since August 2019. The Chinese supplier announced that they are evaluating the impact of this decision on profitability. Apple has not yet made a statement regarding these allegations. The US Department of Commerce decided to blacklist 11 companies, including Ofilm, due to China's bad attitude towards the Uighurs last July.
