Peter Brandt, one of the world's leading
crypto currency analysts, made statements about Ripple's XRP. Brandt, which has constantly published XRP charts in the past, is also known as a strict Bitcoin follower.
Brandt commented that DLT giant Ripple is "a big bag holder" and stated that he does not trust the XRP market for this reason. In addition, Ripple's board member Yoshitaka Kitao also commented "fake news" about the reports that Japan's new prime minister Yoshihide Suga has been elected as economic advisor.
'I Don't Trust the XRP Market'
Reminding that Ripple holds about 60 percent of the total supply of XRP, Peter Brandt explained that XRP is a large bag holder and does not trust this market.
The debate began with news that the renowned analyst was elected as economic advisor by the newly elected Japanese prime minister Yoshihide Suga, CEO of SBI Holdings, Yoshitaka Kitao (a board member of the Ripple blockchain giant). Brandt commented as "fake news" for the said news. Following this development, the XRP community has flooded Peter Brandt with criticism.
According to another investor, Dave Lui, the financial giant SBI Holdings is under the control of about 60 percent of the banks in Japan and that these banks can encourage the adoption of XRP in Japan.
