Yuga Labs Donates to Miami Art Scene!

Yuga Labs announced a $1 million donation to fund arts and education projects in the founding city of Miami. Founders Greg Solano and Wylie Aronow pledged to contribute to improving under-resourced communities in the city. As a first step in the campaign, the company invested $300,000 in the Venture Miami Scholarship Fund.

BAYC founders Greg and Wylie have significantly different origin stories. Both partners are also from Miami. A chance meeting ten years ago led them on a historic journey with the NFT project. And keeping the city's vibrant culture alive is the partners' top priority. The latest venture revealed that the founders and Miamian Yuga Labs CEO Nicole Muniz are investing in their hometown. As a result of the Yuga Labs donation, BAYC creators also aim to maximize the potential of the next generation of innovators and creatives from the city. The Venture Miami Scholarship Fund helps qualified students pursue their STEM education debt-free. The fund focuses on helping under-resourced students complete a bachelor's degree in STEM. The organization also allows students to select and pursue a high-paying, in-demand profession with free tuition. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez made a statement about the donation.
