Yuga Labs Publishes Otherside Litepaper!
Yuga Labs, the creator of BAYC, made the announcement on July 16, 2022 via the Othersidemeta Twitter account. Along with the announcement, it published the litepaper on the BAYC and NFT-based Metaverse. The team tweeted that 'for you to access more Otherside information, we have published a litepaper'. Otherside is a BAYC Metaverse virtual world of 200,000 virtual landscapes. Similar to other Metaverse plots from projects such as Decentraland, NFTs are traded on the Otherdeeds open market. According to recent reports, Otherdeed NFT sales have experienced a huge surge. Otherdeed has been ranked as the third largest collection in terms of weekly NFT sales by specific collections. Last week, Otherdeed sales reached $8,540,410, up 28.67 percent from the previous week.
The Otherside Litepaper website provided a full overview of the Metaverse and the possibilities it could offer. "In the future, we look forward to seeing what new experiences and games our community can create to expand the possibilities of Metaverse," Yuga Labs said. Otherside is described as a world-building platform that provides an exciting environment to play, create, compete, connect and explore together. First, users will experience Otherside through a narrative gameplay experience developed by Yuga and Improbable.
The Otherside Metaverse adventure will begin with stage 1. Voyagers will also consist of an 11-part storyline surrounding a mysterious event unfolding in the Otherside universe. The Litepaper will serve as a starter guide for users. It will also cover the basic principles of the platform, the capabilities of its developers and the possibilities for community building, the Othersidemeta Twitter account explained in a Twitter post on Saturday. Litepaper explained that each subsequent outing will take place on a different date to accommodate as many participants as possible. Specific details about the date and time will always be announced on their official social media accounts. Moreover, the team announced that they will take special precautions against the recent increase in hacking incidents. They also stated that each user should check the links 2-3 times.
