Yuga Labs Warns NFT Holders!

The NFT company made a statement yesterday. In the statement, the company informed its Twitter followers about their security.

Yuga Labs announced that its security team is tracking a persistent threat group targeting the NFT community through compromised social media accounts. It also warned its followers to be very careful. This alert is not the first time the company has warned its community of a possible social media attack by hackers. In June, Gordon Goner, co-founder of Yuga Labs, warned of a possible attack on his Twitter account. Shortly after the warning, Twitter authorities began monitoring activity on the accounts. They also decided to strengthen their existing security after this incident. Goner explained to investors that the company would never carry out surprise mints, a popular method used by attackers to lure victims. Currently, NFT investors and collectors are waiting to see if Yuga Labs will expand the warning.

Premint NFT Website Hacked!

Yuga Labs' new warning comes just after the popular NFT platform Premint NFT was hacked. Approximately 314 NFTs and $375,000 were stolen as a result of the attack. This hack is one of the largest NFT hacks in 2022. Premint allows NFT artists to quickly access a large number of verified NFT aggregators. It is also an NFT service that helps aggregators get whitelists for new NFT projects. The NFT services platform hosts more than 12,000 NFT projects. It also has a database of more than 2.4 million collectors.
