The 12-year-old software developer has created his own NFT collection! The programmer, who has been coding since the age of 5, amazed everyone.
Benyamin Ahmed, who has been coding since he was 5 years old, lives in London. Ahmed, who does not go to school, is interested in swimming and taekwondo, while learning 'coding'.
When Ahmed was just 5 years old, he started programming after watching his web developer father Imran. Ahmed started with HTML and CCS, then learned Javascript and other programs and developed his coding skills.
Most recently, Ahmed's attention was drawn to
NFT (non fungible tokens) digital assets, smart contracts and coding collections that cannot be divided and cannot be reproduced.
Speaking with the
CNBC Make It team, Ahmed said, "I learned about NFTs earlier this year and was very impressed because you can easily transfer NFTs over the blockchain, you can change hands."
After these developments, Ahmed decided to create his own NFT collection. The first collection, called Minecraft Yee Haa, which started forming earlier this summer, consists of 40 colorful pixelized avatars.

The non-fungible token (NFT) stands for a unique token encrypted on the blockchain network. NFT, which works differently from the usual coin and token concept; It stands out with its unique, unchangeable, originality and absolute property rights.
In the most basic terms, non-fungible tokens, which can be described as immutable and unique, are produced with incomparable originality and different values. NFT is often preferred in the collectibles, digital ownership and property rights field. It comes in forms such as crypto artworks, digital collectibles, and unique digital items in online games. These are also called digital certificates.
