Usd/Jpy is trading at 107.38, it went up with 0.17 from 107.2 yesterday.
The Usd/Jpy pair went up today mainly because the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic assisted the USD to regain its status as the global reserve currency, which extended its support to the pair. The USD went up today after Trump announced overnight that he aims to reopen the country by the 1st of May. This caused the Federal Reserve to unleash a massive lending program and made the dollar rise and get stronger against other currencies, for instance, Usd/Jpy.
