`Don't bet against American economy". These 5 words from the Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell were enough to send the Dow climbing by 375 points on Sunday. The Dow and the broader market are set to open higher on Monday after a grueling week last week. The Dow Jones closed at 23685.42 gaining only 60 points. However, Mr.Powell also cautioned against a second wave and said that road to recovery for the U.S. may take a while, and consumers may lack conviction until efforts to find a vaccine for the illness derived from the novel strain of coronavirus are successful.
