The FTSE 100 is off to a good start this week. As of the time of this writing, the "Footsie" is trading at £5922.86(+2.13%), more than 120 points up from its opening price on Monday morning. This comes about as the stocks rebound as a result of the UK reporting fewer cases of coronavirus.
Last week happened to be the worst week for European stocks in two months. The three Index stalwarts that make up the energy sector of the FTSE 100; Total SA, BP Plc and Royal Dutch Shell Plc both rose by more than 6% mostly because of oil output cuts and gradual demand recovery.
