The Dax 30 closed on Wednesday making gains of 2.89% to close at 11,107.74, the highest it has closed this month. The best performer was Deutsche Bank which rose 11.64% whereas the worst performer was Wirecard AG which fell 9.93%.
The Dax might see more improvements on Thursday because the European Central Bank will be delivering it's latest policy decisions. It is expected that the Central Bank will do something in regards to how there has been a hurdle in agreeing on joint fiscal action. If the ECB comes up with an agreement and something concrete the European Market including Germany's might see some improvement.
Germany is grappling under the pressure of a wage subsidy scheme for government workers after businesses enrolled more than 10 million workers in the program for reduced working hours.
