The Dow closed strong on Wednesday pushed by positive news from Gilead that there had been some positive developments from its remade visit vaccine trials. Apparently, about 50% of the test subjects were able to leave the hospital in less than two weeks feeling better. The Dow closed at $24633.86 (2.21%) gaining more than 500 points in the process.
The Federal Reserve is also maintaining interest rates at zero and will keep doing so until the economy is stable again. Chairman Jerome Powell made the statement in a press conference on Wednesday.
The unemployment stats are also going to be released and if the numbers are lower than predicted then the Dow might improve a little bit because it shows that the economy is becoming more stable
