European stock markets consolidated Tuesday, helped by healthy manufacturing data out of China but weighed down by mounting concerns about the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Losses in oil major Royal Dutch Shell (LON:RDSa) dragged the FTSE 100 lower. At 3:40 AM ET (0740 GMT), the DAX in Germany traded 0.1% higher, France's CAC 40 rose 0.1%, the U.K.'s FTSE index was down 0.5%.
