6000 Employees Of Vienna Airport Will Continue In The Part-time
Approximately 6000 employees of Vienna Airport will continue in the part-time work regime until 31 January 2021.The program, in which employees work part-time and receive wage contributions, was originally intended to end the airport on October 1.The number of passengers carried through Vienna Airport during this summer season has dropped to about a quarter of last year's level.The company is preparing to further reduce the number of passengers in the coming months.During the spring, operations at the airport stopped almost completely due to measures against the spread of coronavirus.Vienna Airport has a decisive influence in KSC Holding, which is the majority 66% owner of Košice Airport.The company Letisko Košice - Airport Košice, was established in May 2004, with a registered capital of EUR 31.14 million.The state owns 34% of the shares in Košice Airport through the Ministry of Transport and Construction.
